couldnt see a marriage in Bradford

There are other marriages but as mirf says a near year would help

Ernest died in 1963 and they had 4 children   Victor,Robin,Bryan and colin if this helps at all.and we think they could have been married in the 1920. if this helps at all

Hi,

Looking at www.freebmd.org.uk the children all seem to have the mothers maiden name listed as Patchett.

There is a marriage of Ernest Crookes to Ethel Patchett in Portsmouth registration district in September Quarter 1924 Volume 2b page 1270.

Ethel Crookes was my Grandma on my dad's side, he was victor who died in 1982 aged 53. Did you find all the information you needed?

He appears to have had 2 sisters I won't name the sisters in case they are still living but one was in June qtr.1926 Bradford and the other in 1936 Hull.

The 4 brothers birth/death dates are:
Victor b.19/10/1929 d Jun 1983
Robin b.11/12/1930 Bradford, d.Aug.1993 Bradford
Bryan b. 16/7/1932 Hull, d. Sept.1999 Bradford
Colin Gilbert b.1/6/1942 Bradford, d.Nov.2001 Bradford
