Lancashire Fusilier Enlisted Rochdale

My Grandfather Ernest Brocklehurst Pte 37047 was in The Lancashire Fusiliers.He enlisted in Rochdale Lancashire.He died November 12th 1919 aged 32.On returning to England he had both feet amputated caused through trench foot,he died soon after because of medical complications.He left a son Joseph and a heavily pregnant wife Esther who was to give birth to a girl,her name would be called Jesse.Obviously I did not know my grandfather,and being a kid in care from the age of 5 yrs I barely knew my father,although I know he was a fine man.I always beleive someone has something out their and if you do please drop me a line.It would be nice to know a bit more about Ernest. There is an Ernest in Rochdale in 1901 census, father Fred.
Not sure if he's your man.
Was his death in Hayfield Derbyshire in 4th qtr 1919 aged 32yrs??

There is an Ernest in Rochdale in 1901 census, father Fred.

Hi Tina,is that the one with wife Sarah and daughter Eva.Also there 1891.

Hi Tina Thankyoufor your warm welcome,and information so far.For me Tina any information is great,I know so little about my past.I have just discovered my Grandfather Ernests gravestone right here pretty much on my doorstep.It would be so nice to know more about things.I really do beleive someone out their somewhere would have something on him,even a pic taken with somebody.I have no pics at all of me or my mum or dad from anytime in my life and I know families do store pics from the past.I live in hope hey..I have attached a pic for you of Ernest Brocklehursts gravestone..situated in New Mills and just a couple of miles from Hayfield,the place you refer to in your first reply to me.

No I am not on any sites to be honest.May I ask where I might apply for a copy of my grandfathers death certificate and in actual fact whilst I am doing that I could apply for a copy of my fathers death certificate.I assume it would be the same place I apply to.
