I am trying to get a lcear image of the faces of the two gentleman stood at the back of this photo near the house. I have been unable to get a clear imge, these gentleman may be ancestors so anyone who can help, I would really appreciate it.

If you re-scan your picture ... and I quote from another thread ...

Then restorers may be able to bring out the faces you are trying to see more clearly. 

Scan in colour, even if its a black/white original ... it gives more detail.

I endorse what Lydart says but it might be that the men standing by the door were too far away when the original photo was taken and the camera didn't pick up their features. 

It might be worth you looking at the original photo with a magnifying glass and seeing if you can see their features. If you can't see them,  then there's nothing that we can do unless we actually draw them in from our imagination.

Thanks for the advice and attempts to alter the photo. Sadly I don't have the original photo, but I'll see if I can get another copy sent to me.
