Hi there,
Re Princess Royal’s 1823 voyage

;) One of the prisoners was a Thomas BAKER, and his certificate of Freedom was issued 12 July 1830 as per NSW SRO online indexes.  http://srwww.records.nsw.gov.au/indexsearch/keyname.aspx

;) From the 1825 General Muster, that chap was assigned to Mr W Redfern at Bathurst.

;) NSW Col Sec papers 1788-1825 have that Thomas BAKER forwarded to Airds for distribution abt 17 March 1823.

Fingers crossed these posts are leading you to find/confirm/eliminate further details for your John Ewbank Simpson and his wife and NSW descendants.

Cheers,  JM
