No cause of death shown COMPLETED
« on: Friday 07 October 11 16:40 BST (UK) »
I have obtained the death certificate of my great uncle and wonder if anyone could please suggest a reason for it having just a line drawn across the section for 'cause of death'
The death was registered at Wick on 28th June 1913 by a sergeant of police and, in the left hand column of the certificate, is the note 'See Reg of Cor entries Vol 4 Page 206 July 7th 1913'.
I would be grateful for any help with possible lines of further investigation.
Thank you.

The Register of Corrected Entries will give the cause of death as found by an enquiry. If you saw the death certificate on Scotland's People, if you scrolled down the page, under the three certificates, you would have found a link to the entry in the R. C. E. This is not obvious unless you know to look for it!

Graham.
