Mells Family Petersfield

I am searching for relatives of the Mells family , My great grandfather Walter Edward Mells was born in Petersfield  in 1885, His parents were Kossuth Mells and Angela Guy, He arrived in Australia on April 12th 1910,

Are you sure Kossuth was married to an Angela? Or did he marry twice?

The question I was asking is if you have tracked the family in the UK Censuses as Kossuth does appear in them.

As far as i know, he was only married to Angela Guy, I have census papers here and in the first one it has Russell Mells as head of the family so im not sure what the story is

Hi Terri,

Those cesuses are what I found, his wife is Charlotte in them. There is a rule here that you cant copy censuses and put them on line, which you may not know. It is to do with copyright. You can click the modify button on your post and remove the attachments. Just put up the RG Nunbers at trhe bottom instead. Same is true with your email. If someone wants to send you info privately, they canuse the private message system.

Where does the name Angela come from? I can't see any other family that comes close to this one for uor chap. Obviously a puzzle here somewhere.

Is the family tree I sent you the link for your own tree, or does it belong to someone else?
