Just managed to stumble across this thread while trying to flesh out some unresearched parts of my family tree, and I wanted to add my thanks to all involved. William D B is my great-great uncle (I'm descended from his brother Samuel Miles) and I don't think anyone in my family knew about any of this.

Hi Brian,
I've just got your reply and am pleased to say that William DB Chapman is in my tree, not as a direct ancestor, but because my Uncle was married to one of William's daughters - (Eleanor Jeanne Chapman).

Yes Trish - We'll have to wait and see where it takes us.
As I said before, not directly in my tree but my cousin(s) in the UK have an interest and so will have to play it quietly as many are still alive. I don't want to cause any problems for them.

Hopefully Brian will be back soon.
