12th Battalion Royal Artillery

Hi folks

Does anyone have any information about my fathers Battalion of the Royal Artillery the 12th battalion he served in North Africa, Italy, Scicily and I think in the Middle East and spent time around Lake Como.

He could have been attached to the American forces whilst in Italy during WW11

It was a Heavy Anti-Aircraft Battery, there is a little bit of information on the net but this isnt correct as I have photos and medals which prove he was in the areas stated as well as word of mouth from my now deceased father
