I'll have another look for her, Dan, but didn't find anything last night. She might have died up the road from me in Morpeth and/or registered as Butters.

 Rosanna, William's first wife  died in 1904, Cummertrees, aged 36. Other name -  Carlyle

Also, cross ref of the 1911 free index shows a Helen Butters who looks very much like the Helen Jane McWilliam,  so she didn't die  :D
