1861 Census Shotts, Lanarks MCKECHNIE

Hi

I am looking for a Samuel MCKECHNIE born 1836, Argyll, Scotland (occ was Ag Lab 1862).  He married in 1862 at Dykehead, Shotts, Lanarkshire to Janet WATSON.  Hoping he is in the area before this.  His parents were James MCKECHNIE (ships carpenter) and Margaret JOHNSTON.  Any help would be much appreciated.

             There's no Samuel McKechnie in 1861 index for Lanarkshire, I also tried Glasgow, no luck there either.

Thanks Capricorn.  That probably means he is in Argyllshire somewhere and prob 1851 as well.  Nice chatting at chatterbox the other night.  Hope you found some more rellis recently.

I've checked the 1851 Index and there is no trace of Samuel .... although there is what looks like a listing for Janet Watson and her family.
