looking for Bill and Dora Dickson in Blackpool, kingsmead, abt 1930-60.

Just came across Your Post. From a Barrett's Residential and Trade Directory for Blackpool,1952 Edition. A William Dickson was living at number 15, Kingsmede Avenue, South Shore, Blackpool.

You, mentioning another address, made Me take another look at the Kingmede Addresses, and I found a William T. Dickson living at number 38. So, two William Dixon's in the same Avenue !

Do you mean William & Theodora Mary previously Dalby born Cadman?  Married 1937

They can be found on the 1939 register

William died 1961 aged 79 - nothing for Dora afterwards

She was previously married and had a son Cyril in 1924 - see www.freebmd.org.uk plus 1939 register

Yes that's them.  I have William's death cert here.  I'll have to look it out to check the no.
