You might find it interesting that I found Cornelius Bonner mentioned in a document of 1806: a list of prisoners of war in the Archivo General de la Nación. He was in the group of those who were destined for San Juan, having first passed through Mendoza. (As you probably know, they were divided in several groups headed for different provinces).
They were 198 soldiers, and arrived to San Juan on October 23, 1806.
