Hi all

I have Keziah Durrant B c1834 Gt Missenden. In 1841 she is with her Mum Sarah B 1811 and Keziahs siblings William B c 1827 Ann B c 1836.

I wonder if anyone can have a look for Keziah's baptism or that of her siblings for the name of their father or even Sarah's maiden name if it was not Durrant please.

FreeREG has a Caroline Claridge Durrant Baptised 22 Dec 1839, St Faith, Newton Longville, Buckinghamshire
Notes; baptised with Mothers Surname Alias Sarah DURRANT
FreeBMD has her Birth Reg 1839 and Death Reg 1840, Newport Pagnell

There is also a Sarah DURRANT Baptised 10 June 1810, St Faith to WILL./MARY
Earliest Child of theirs seems to be born ANN 24 July 1792 on FreeREG.

Possible Marriage to Mary DEVERILL 11 July 1791, Beachhampton, Buckinghamshire

Thats great - thank you. I think that is quite likely from all I have that what you offer fits and Sarah was unmarried when Keziah was born /baptised.

Some great info there. I dont think the Newton Longville fits as everything I have says Gt Missenden, but I shall X check.

Did Sarah Marry post 1841?
Do you know when/where exactly she was born ?
I cant seem to find any of them in 1851 except for William who says he was born c 1831.

William on Census Records says he was born c 1829 mostly.
He is a Brewer in 1881 and a Ag Lab/Labourer in all previous ones.

The Newton Longville baptism is definitely not correct.  

In 1846 (from FamilySearch) Sarah DURRANT married James PEDDER at Great Missenden and she appears with him in Great Missenden in the 1851 census.  

In March Qtr 1853 James PEDDER died and Sarah then married (in Sept Qtr 1853) William BIRCH.  William and Sarah BURCH (note different spelling) appear in the 1861 census in Great Missenden.

In both 1851 and 1861 Sarah gives her place of birth as Little Missenden.  Little Missenden baptisms are not included in FamilySearch.

Well I have Sarah in the 1841 census - as I said in a previous post -  but then I can't find her anywhere until 1881 when she is living with her daughter Keziah.
Keziah married 27 July 1853 to Thomas Carter at Ballinger and Thomas died 1874 still in Ballinger.
Buttttt in the 1881 census Sarah's last name is CHURCH but as yet I have not found a marriage for Sarah between 1841 and 1881.

In 1891 Keziah is still in Ballinger and in 1901 she is in Chesham

Any ideas would be great and thank you again for having a look at this for me.
