Is there any website with older generation photos of peple of Drogheda and Photos of Duleek Gate, Sheilds Bakery and the Old Drogheda Workhouse Old hill.  And also how do you get access to the Church Records in Drogehda after 1900 and get to see them in person.  Is there any libruarys around that have copys of them

You might see if you can get a copy of this book.

The paper probably has lots of archive photos.

Hi I was just reading through your post about old Drogheda photos. My mum and her family lived in Drogheda from about 1913 - 1921. She also had an Aunt and Uncle who raised their family in Drogheda so I was also looking for photos and info.

I got a copy of a book that was compiled for The National School which contains lots of photos and information about pupils..... where they lived and also pictures.

Well worth a look.

Hi There is a Facebook page called Drogheda Down Memory Lane, it is a private group but if you apply they accept should accept you provided you do not post certain types of political or other such items.

There are lots of photos there from earliest times including paintings up to more recent times.
