Does anyone know anything about a John Henry Willis(He was a Merchant Navy Seaman) born approx 1850/60 had a daughter called Eliza Annie Willis who got married in Edmonton London in 1916 to Frederick H P Wilson and had a daughter called Gladys K

You have posted this on a board that is to do with Ireland, but he doesn't seem to have an Irish connection.

However if he was a Merchant Seaman his records will be at

That will give you a better DOB to start your search from - most of the index records also carry a photo, and will detail all voyage destination and dates plus ship names.  They are very helpful but charge a small fee for research.
