Hatfield : Baptism 1788

Hello

The IGI has a baptism in Hatfield for Joseph (no surname given) on the 9th Mar 1788 son of John & Sarah.

Can someone please lookup this baptism.

I hope the surname is Baldock.

Found the parish record for the baptism and you are in luck, I can confirm that the surname is BALDOCK.

Thank you very much for doing this lookup for me. I am so pleased that the surname is Baldock.   :)

My Joseph Baldock born abt 1788 is on the 1841 census living in Chelsea, Middlesex. He married in St Martin in the Fields and so did an Esther & Mary Baldock. This Mary was a witness to my Joseph's marriage. John & Sarah in Hatfield had daughters named Esther & Mary.

I reckon the Hatfield Joseph Baldock is my one.
