drowning in Shannon River Lady Massy
« on: Wednesday 02 November 11 21:56 GMT (UK) »
I am wondering if anyone has any information about a Lady Massy drowning in the Shannon River--sources say 1831 or 1841.  I  do not know for sure if it was the wife of Lord Massy, as I have seen some references to that in a couple of sources, or a daughter that was on her way to a "romantic assignation".  Family lore says it was either my great great great grandfather that died in the drowning also, or two of his sons (Hewitt's), that the daughter talked into taking her across the river in the fog.

Thank you for the tip......, but when I cut & paste it comes up with NOT FOUND.

Am I doing something wrong?
