FRECKNALL One-Name Study
« on: Saturday 05 November 11 18:14 GMT (UK) »
I recently launched a new website for the Frecknall One-Name Study. It can be found at:
http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~frecknallancestry/

Spelling variants include Frecknell, Fracknall, Fricknall, Fricknell, Frignall, Frignel, etc.

The earliest discovered roots are in mid-seventeenth century Derbyshire (Chesterfield area), but by the nineteenth century, almost all Frecknalls lived in Nottinghamshire. In fact, all but two of the 16 Frecknall households on the 1841 census lived in Notts.

We have shown that all 170-odd Frecknalls alive today are a descendant of one David Frignall of Caunton, Notts who lived from c.1680 to 1742.

Anyone with Frecknall links, please get in touch!
