Lily Dickson, Berwickshire
« on: Monday 07 November 11 22:01 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the family of Lily Dickson (married name became Dodds). I believe she had children Ian and Helen who lived in the Berwick area. Lily's dad was Bob and her sister was Ella. I have lots of pictures of her when she was young. Here is one.

At a guess around 1920 - 1930. Her parents were Bob Dickson who came from the Newcastle area and Georgina Virtue who was from Berwickshire.

Helen would be her elder sister who I have as Ella. You can see the age difference in this photo. Helen is on the left, then Georgina, Bob and Lily. Thanks for that, I was always looking at the Scottish records for clues so missed the 1911 information.

looking into these details, Elizabeth McLaren is actually his mother, who married a Daniel Peatie McLaren, in 1876.
She died in 1921, 20 th December  in Dalkeith
She had a further 7 children with Daniel and I am still trying to trace their details, but running out of SP vouchers very quickly!
