Henry Jones (Self Rising Flour) Broadmead Bristol
« on: Thursday 17 November 11 07:20 GMT (UK) »
I am after any information on the Jones family who lived in
Bristol and who where mainly bakers, Flour Millers, confectioners and Grocers.

My connection is  with a "William Jones" a baker   his brother was "Henry Jones" he took out the patent on "Self Rising Flour" he had a factory in Broadmead.

The Jones brothers all had something to do with baking bread

Edward Jones B 1809  "21 Lower Berkeley Place

Henry Jones B1813     " 46 Castle At"

Henry Jones B1813      "36&37  Broadmead"

Henry Jones B1813       "40 Mary Le Port Street"

Robert Jones B1806      " 28 Bridge Street"

William Jones B1805       " 27 & 28 Bridge Street"

I noticed a lot of information in the Bristol Archives about transferring land related to this family.

Is any one related to this family

Regards

Hi,

According to my grandmother we are descendants of Henry Jones "patent of self raising flour" and I have been looking for information relating to this. If you know anymore I would appreciate any information.

Cheers

Steph.

Henry Jones is my 4th Great Granduncle

First you have to make a connection with your known family history by going backwards

On the actual history written about him there some but very little  his ancestors where all bakers and Corn Factors of Bristol.

If you find a connection let me know I can go back in family history of  Henry Jones
