Her father (Griffith Jones) was still alive for the 1901 census.  Do you have the details?

Thanks again Dazey, picture of Dorothy's brother is very interesting as i have a picture of who i believe to be her Nephew, Philip P Griffith-Jones and the family resemblance is very apparent.

I know, i bought the medals after the auction finished from a dealer and started to search for any information on Dorothy, was gutted when i found the auction house that sold all the family history, i would have loved have kept it all together. I hate to see family history being broke up like that. But never mind, the search goes on.  ;)

I'm currently looking for information on the birth family of Reginald Thomas Jones, born in Goldington in 1910, and adopted by 1911 by my 1st cousin 4x times removed, Florence Emily Brealey and her husband Percy Frederick Nichols.
Having searched all 'Jones' records for the 1901 and 1911 censuses, I can only find 2 Jones families.
One of the families was Griffith Jones family, and I have been looking for further information on them and found this link.
