Request Birth Lookup ***COMPLETED***

Hi,
I am looking for a birth of my g/grandmother Annie Augusta Stokes. This is what I know.....b. Oakhill 1846 to Miriam Stokes(b.1821) and alledged father Charles Newman, not sure if they were married. Miriam later married Richard Cabel. Annie is not seen anywhere in 1851 census. Annie, Miriam and Richard leave for Aust. 1863.
I have looked up countless data bases looking for Annie's birth with no luck....not sure where to look next.
Any info would be great.

Failure to register a birth only became a fineable offence in 1874/5.  Many births went unregistered prior to then

The first Statistician of the GRO  Dr. William Farr (1807–1883) estimated a 5% non-registration rate for births 1837-76, declining from  6.9% in 1841-50 to 1.8% in 1861-70.
