Thank you very much. It's hard to tell if this is the family I am looking for. A Mary Pendlebury immigrated with 2 sons in 1834..Samuel age 8, and Thomas age 6. Perhaps there was a daughter I was not aware of. Thanks again.

Yes. Samuel in this census, age 44, was one of the two boys who came over with his mother, Mary, in 1834... and presumably was with her in 1840 if we have the correct Mary (in 1840).
