looking for the family kerr, a peter kerr worked on the dunrobin castle in scotland and im looking to see if he had a brother thomas kerr who also help with the csatle.and im looking for the name elspeth young who worked at the castle in the 1800s and was sent to australia when she got pregant to a thomas kerr.

Sorry, but "1800's" is very vague.
Can you narrow it down to a decade (or thereabouts)?

Doesn't really help I know, but you could try contacting Golspie Heritage http://www.spanglefish.com/golspieheritagesociety/ on seeking advice direct from Dunrobin who may have staff lists http://www.dunrobincastle.co.uk/

I couldn't find a William or Peter Kerr living in Golspie in the census'.

I am related and have some information on Elsbetheth's son to Thomas after arriving in Australia, she was married twice more, would like to know more of thomas after his involvement in the re building of dunrobin castle with his brother Peter

Hi i the one who has been looking for info on Thomas Kerr and Elsbeth young she was my third generation grand mother.she was sent for Dunrobbin castle to Australia to have her baby Robert young then heard the Kerr name he was never given but i have letters form Thomas to Elsbeth back in the day. are u related or just have info on them .
