KITE family Wiltshire

Hello

I've hit another wall.  I have an Elizabeth Sawyer, formerly Kite, mother to Robert Sawyer born in Netheravon in 1848, married to William Sawyer, residence Netheravon.  All this information is from Roberts birth certificate.  However, I cannot find anything else for Elizabeth as I am now trying to research her Kite family.  I can see her on the 1841 census married to William but how do I now go back further to find her parents/siblings?

You haven't included details of her birthyear 

1851 shows she was b 1814 Netheravon

I don't have any information of her birth year apart from the census returns.  I have been working with c1814

The census returns are the main source for birthyears - although not always as accurate as they could be

It's just like she didn't exist as a Kite.

It may be that she wasn't baptised as an infant in which case there wouldn't be any info about her

However - not every entry in every parish register has been transcribed so it may be something you will just have to keep checking periodically as new records become available

Ooh, I wonder if that could be her.  Will have to investigate parents in census.  Thanks for that!

Elizabeth was married to William Sawyer before 1837 so there won't be any census entry with her parents
