When looking in the family tree section, put in Samual Smith with parents William Smith & Sarah Henderson.  It should be right under public trees.

Right I have found the tree not a lot of help as they have only followed Samuel's wife.  Can you tell me where you found his draft papers, please.  I've spent ages looking but still can't find them.
You have got me a lot further on, thank you,

It's under the WWI Draft Registration Cards.  There's a link at the top of this page:  http://www.militaryindexes.com/worldwarone/index.html  He's listed as St. Clair Smith.

Got it!  Thanks again.  Now just need his naturalisation papers.  His wfe did it so I feel he would have done.  But that's for another day.

It says on the 1930 census that William James St Clair Smith has taken naturalisation but I cannot find it after searching all morning.
I am also having difficulty in finding Sarah Annie Henderson's Arrival in 1905.  Another problem with names - she married as Annie Henderson.

I DON'T want to presume Shelley but if you like a puzzle there they are.  I am cross eyed from peering!

Modified I left out the DON'T

People were allowed to naturalize in different courts, and not all of them have their records online.  That could be part of the problem here, along with the name issue.
