« on: Wednesday 07 December 11 09:03 GMT (UK) »
Looking for census details on William Barton WRENSHALL - b abt 1850, father William WRENSHALL and mother Ann BARTON.  I think he died 1887 (free BMD).

Probably find him in Liverpool.  I'm interested to know if he married and had children.

thanks
Shelley

He was still single, at home with said parents in 1871 RG10/3785 Folio 70 Page 9 @ 76, Canning St, Liverpool Mount Pleasant.

Father was a Professor of Music, and he himself a General Clerk in a Brokers Office. A younger bro Thomas.

Cant yet find him in the 1881 census. His bro' Thomas is Lodging @ 63 Huskisson St, Liverpool, Mt Pleasant.

I cant see a Marriage prior to 1887 (he died in the Birkenhead Reg District)

Thank you very much for the replies.

I didn't know about the younger brother, Thomas.  What year was he born?  Could I have details of the 1861 and 1871 census, please?
Yes, Ann Barton was Wm senior's second wife.

Thanks for that, Radcliff.  Where did those baptisms come from?  I've tried the IGI and the Online Parish Clerk for Lancashire with no luck.  Thanks also for the 1871 census details.

Thanks again Radcliff.  I've now found the baptisms on Family Search.

Does anyone have details of the 1861 census for this family please.

Thanks
Shelley
