BELGIUM: Leswisse's from Belguim
« on: Tuesday 10 May 05 13:48 BST (UK) »
Hello

Does anyone know how I could trace back my great grandfathers family who come over from Belguim in the second half of the 19th century.
Unfortunatly I don't know where in Belguim they were from.
thanks

The name sounds French, so it would be probably from the Francophone parts of Belguim (scroll down a bit - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgium) of Wallonia and Brussels, in the south west of Belgium.
