Is there a reason you think he may have ended up in Pennsylvania?  There are many James Mccoy's born Ireland in the U.S.

Do you have an approximate immigration date?  A birth date for James? A place of birth?  Parents names? An occupation for James? Any more information at all?

James was born in Ardee County louth Ireland in 1868.His parents names were Bernard Mccoy and Catherine Matthews. I think he may have been a farm labourer. Regards Hugh.
