Apart from that one Carole, I think this might be 1851 (a reference on the net to a daughter Jane led me to it!):

Sarah McCreadie 25, Mariner Wife b. Montrose Forfar
Sarah McCreadie 4 b. Inverkip
Jane McCreadie 2 b. Inverkip
Mary McCreadie 11 Months b. Greenock

Address: 32 Shaw Street, Greenock

John, the 1855 birth cert that Carole has mentioned for son James might be an interesting one for you to have a look at. The first year of official registration in Scotland and for one year only, the entries for BMDs ran over to two pages of the register with a wealth of additional info. For example, should include marriage date for James and Sarah.

I had a quick look here www.inverclyde.gov.uk/education-and-learning/libraries/local-and-family-history/family-history/intimations/?galleryindex=2 but couldn't easily see anything for the family there, you might be lucky though and see something.
