Mary Kate Kenny
« on: Monday 19 December 11 05:37 GMT (UK) »
Hi All

Wondering if someone could work out the name place.
I have just found my GGrandfathers(George Larkin) marriage in Dublin in 1893.On the Irish Genealogy site. For the life of me i can not work out how to crop and just put the place name in.
It states that his normal place of residence was Pembrock Docks,Wales
and i cannot work out where his wife is from
On the 1911 census in England it states that Mary was born in Tralee.
So if someone could have a look for me that would be great.

Regards Sue

Is this the marriage you are referring to :

marriage of George Larkin & Mary Kate Kenny - 3 August 1893

George's residence is given as Wellington Barracks S.C.R. (South Circular Road), but his parents current address is Pembroke Docks, South Wales. The address below that is the current address for Mary's parents - see below...

the parents' address might be a badly written Wexford?? Mary Kate's address looks like 13 Windsor Terrace rather than the stated Wardson Terrace.

the first letter has me stuck at the moment, but the ending looks like 'aro' or 'oro', and there's a letter with a descender in the middle - probably a 'g'

Hi Sue, I'm not sure to be honest but think it might be. The W of the address is very similar to the W of Wellington Barracks although different to the W of Mary's address! They had a dispensation as well I think judging by the column on the right.
