I was about to add that Wm White snr was the coroner; Wm Dudley White was a doctor;Dudley White (wm jnr's son) was a lawyer.

This family belongs in the tree somewhere (like I said, "nephew" to Thomas Willis) but I can't fiind the missing link and I think it must be William Dudley's mum.

Alice or Alicia Willis? I haven't found her (if she existed). Thomas Willis b 1830, d 1890. Sibs Frances bapt 1824, Robert b 1834, unknown dates for Ann and for the Emily that I previously mentioned. Parents to the Willis brood = Thomas Willis (dr, sr, 1790 - 1881) and Mary Henry (d 1858)

So Alicia Willis fits nicely  :)

Can anyone find a dob or baptism for Alice?
I see Richard Willis was a sponsor, i've not come across him before either ----

I didn't know of an Isabella in this generation but there are others in subsequent generations so I@m not surprised.

This is all great! Many thanks!

Not sure if this is still monitored but I have some information on the White/Willis/Noble connection. My great great grand aunt was Emily Noble.  She did indeed marry William Dudley White in 1868. She was also the first cousin to George Noble Plunkett, father to 1916 man Joseph Mary Plunkett.

William Dudley White was the son of William White, coroner for Dublin, and Alicia Willis.  Alicia was born around 1819 and was the daughter of Thomas Willis. WDW had two brothers; Henry and the published poet Richard Edward White. Alicia died in 1844.  I’ll have to double check my notes but WDW and his siblings had godparents who were named Richard Willis, Frances Willis, and another Willis.

Hope this helps, I know I am several years late.
