Hi WR

I see that Grenville was the son of George O (b.c. 1868) who was the son of John (b.c. 1837) who was the son of James and Mary

Do you know of any other graveyards in the area that they might have been buried in besides St John's? I'm only finding one burial in St John's in the time period that Stormybay is interested in.

Yes I see that Grenville is of the same family.

There is also Trefnant Cemetary in Acrefair and the Welsh Baptist Chapel in Newbridge.

There are 12 death registrations for Postle (variations) on the North Wales BMD 1837-1900  in Ruabon sub-district.

The only one that is showing in St John's is Elizabeth in 1876  (aged 33) - GRO ref is Sep 1876, Wrexham 11b 195

Would Wrexham  have the burial lists for the other cemeteries?

This looks like a possible baptism for Mary Richards, wife of James:

St Mary's Ruabon
18 March 1816 Mary d/o Thomas Richards (labourer) and Margaret of Ruabon.

These names  are carried through to their children - Margaret Elizabeth and Thomas (neither seem to be baptised Ruabon or Rhosymedre but earlier ones are!)

Thanks MM - but I have all the registers listed for them on that site and have done the searches all ready. :)

Looking for deaths/burials now mainly - found 12 on death index but only 1 burial so far.

Added - forgot to mention to Stormybay that we can't mention the names of living descendants on this site because of confidentiality/identity theft, etc.

Hi Gnu
I realised that you'd searched but was posting more for Stormybay as I thought he may not have come across the site.  :)
