All Saints, Runcorn***COMPLETED WITH THANKS****
« on: Saturday 31 December 11 14:01 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

Can anyone tell me if there are still the old (early 1800s) gravestones there? It seems the church was rebuilt in 1846.

Thanks
Julie

Sorry I don't know however GENUKI cheshire Churches says that monumental inscriptions taken in 1963 are held at the Cheshire Record Office.

Hi Junev,

Thanks for that. I need to go to the Cheshire RO in any case.

The churhyard now has many paths which are made from the headstones for the graves that were formerly there.  Whether all of the headstones that were there originally were used, I don't know.
