Samuel DEAVES 1841 Liverpool- Completed, thanks

Hi

I am seeking Samuel DEAVES in the Liverpool area in 1841. He was christened in St. Peter's, Liverpool in May 1840, so age should be given as 1 year. He should be with his father, also Samuel, who was a boatman, and his mother, believed to be Mary.

In 1851 Samuel appears as DAVIES, and other known variants are DEEVIS, and DEEVES.

Can anyone find him, please?

Ball Street North
There is a Mary Deaves aged 25yrs
William aged 7yrs
Samuel aged 13months

Thanks very much- that looks like him. Samuel the elder is variously described as boatman/mariner, and like most of my husband's seagoing ancestors was never at home on census night!
I had been looking for possible marriages around 1839, but 7 year old William puts a different slant on things.
Could I ask, please, if Mary was 'born in county' or not?

Mary was born in Scotland and William also-Samuel was born in Lancashire.
No details I'm afraid.

Very helpful, thank you. I found the marriage of Samuel and Mary in Port Glasgow in 1832. Surname is given as DAVES, but he is described as a mariner.
