Miss Marie Snell left Southampton on 16 October 1920  bound for Buenos Aires, she was 32.
She was travelling alone and had no occupation.

Looks like she met and married Simon whilst there then?

Carol

Transcript states that she travelled 1st Class and she intended to reside permaneantly in Argentina

Hi all,  thanks for the info.  I'm Julian (from Argentina), grandson of Albert (Bob) Mayer and great-grandson of Simon Mayer and Marie A. Snell.  I hope everyone still gets these messages.  I'm trying to get the marriage certificate of Simon and Marie.  Are you sure then that they were married here in Argentina?  Do you know which year?  1920?   Thanks.  Let me know if I can help with other information you'd like about the family.
Julian.

Hi all,  I'm Julian Mayer, great grandson of Simon.  I really need to find out where Simon Mayer lived with his family in Germany, in what city, its the only thing I'm missing for some important paperwork I'm trying to get together.  Can anyone please help me with this?  I thought he had lived in Ulm but a friend checked their local archives and it doesn't appear to be so.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I already found out that he got married here in Argentina after Marie Snell came in 1920.
Thanks!
Julian.
