Mary married Christopher Farrell in 1886

John may have married Annie Tyrrell late McGuire in 1879, his address at the time was Clongory another townland in the area.

Laurence Fox and Bridget Nolan married 8 Oct 1857, Barrettstown

second last on right hand page

I wonder if they may have lost a baby as the first baptism is
Michael 6 Jan 1860 Blacktrench

Mary 9 Feb 1862 Blacktrench

Eliza 26 May 1864 Derrees

John 29 July 1866 Blacktrench

Derrees is across the road from Blacktrench, but it says Blacktrench on her birth cert.
Barrettstown is beside Blacktrench.

I should add the Caragh Parish register is a mess, it's possible there are children missing from this list.
More later I hope!

Just adding the other children from dathai's FamilySearch link
Laurence 1869

hi folks
This is amazing to find this thread.

We have been working on a family mystery and I have, through DNA, located Laurence Fox and Bridget Nolan as potentially great grandparents of my father in law, who never knew his own father.

I have done a lot of work on this family line and just trying to figure out where the foxes might have fit in with the other family that has come up, lysaghts/lycetts etc

Happy to share any of my research with you re the Fox/Mooney/Williams side of things

Hi Meabh
I'm interested in your mention of the Lysath family.
I've been looking quite a bit at this family recently.
Are yours the Lysaths (and many variations) from Roseberry?
I've also been looking at a Fox family Thomas Fox and Rose Donnelly.
