Thanks to one of the most helpful people ever who contacted us through Rootschat, we have a new line to discover! 

I am seeking any information on Robert Robertson, who was born December, 1755, in Bervie, Kincardine, Scotland to James Robertson and Jean Donaldson.  We believe he is the same Robert Robertson that married Ann Gordon in 1782 in Bervie and fathered Robert Barclay Robertson (as well as an illegitmate child, also named Robert, by his maid, Mary Paterson in 1805  :o)
