Maiden Name Help

Morning all!

Can somebody possibly help me try to discover a few maiden names as I've hit a brick wall and don't know where to look now!! All the details I have are below:

My 3* Great Grandmother - Mary (Long shot I know) - Born 1832 in Somerset - married a Daniel Martin in 1861 in Frome - Died 1864 in Cardiff

Anything would be greatly appreciated!!

Interestingly the marriage is also on the familysearch site

but they give a different date of 26 May. I suspect the date on the familysearch website is a date when the banns were read but to be sure of the correct date you would need to buy the marriage certificate or have a look at a copy of the parish registers somewhere

As you probably know there are two versions of the familysearch site, the old one with all the transcriptions and the newer pilot one which has far more records

I agree with David, the early date on family search is more likely to be banns. There are transcriptions for Cloford (confirming 10 June marriage) at http://www.fromeresearch.org.uk/
