Anne & Jane Jones Penparcau, Aberystwyth

I am looking for the parents & siblings of Anne Jones (b 8Jan 1854) & her sister Jane (b 11 May 1858)born in Penparcau Aberystwyth. Anne's marriage certificate in 1879 identifies her father as Thomas Jones, a labourer. The 2 sisters moved from Penparcau to Llanwddyn,Montgomeryshire sometime in the 1870s. Please can anyone help? Looks like Ann is not at home on 1871 but in service in Aberystwyth

Hi, Many thanks for this ..yes I have her here too.I just wonder why she and her sister moved to Llanwddyn...could there have been a family exodus???

Hi there, Many thanks for getting back to me.....yes I have seen this....and I am not sure....there are only 2 years difference between these girls and I know there should be 4. On all the subsequent census, the birth place is Penparcau not Aberystwyth. I wish I could be sure of the Parish record so that I could get a birth certificate. Once again thanks fr your time.
