I came across a similar entry on ancestry with a christening in Maiden Newton in 1742 also listed in Gillingham.  When looking at the Gillingham page it said 'Christenings in Maiden Newton'.  Not sure why Gillingham but this looks like a copy of the Maiden Newton entries also listed with the genuine Gillingham ones.  I suspect an ancestry issue.

I have the same problem with 18th century Beaminster entries duplicated under Cranbourne (or vice versa).
I requested clarification from Ancestry a month ago but am still waiting.
