Cup and saucer - Belleek?
« on: Thursday 26 January 12 00:14 GMT (UK) »
Been discussing the possible maker of this cup and saucer on the photo gallery tea and chatter thread and they suggested I post pics here.

This cup and saucer belonged to my 3 x great grandparents.  The wife came from Ireland in 1841 to Australia.
Family lore guessed it to be from the 1840s or 1850s but when I took it to an antique fair evaluation I was told it dated from 1810.
There is a general concensus on the p.g.t. & c. thread that it looks like Belleek - except they weren't around until well after 1810 according to their website.
Unfortunately there is no mark on the bottom.

Any ideas gratefully received  :)
