Found some info ( wharfegen.org.uk) was wondering if anyone could find anything else on the family,

there are some saying they are related the Vavasour (

Christopher Favell    Birth 1591 in Altofts, Yorkshire, England married Ann Ryther ) this is on Ancestry but cant find anyone with proof. so trying to find out who my Favell are


Any help would be great.

I assume you have seen the following pedigree of James which may give you more information

several of the Favell's are buried in my church, All Saints Normanton, under the floor of the side chapel or chancel
