Victoria Charlotte Eccleshall died of enteric fever aged 26 at Jhansi, India  02 NOV 1910 and was buried on the same day in Jhansi Cemetery Plot JJJ64.   A Roman Catholic, her grave inscription reads:

"In loving memory of Victoria Charlotte Eccleshall wife of Col Sgt Eccleshall 2nd Bn The Worcs who died at Jhansi."
