Richard George of Llanidloes Powys

Can anyone help me i have reached a brick wall.  I'm try to trace my greatgrandfather, his name was Richard George I think he was born around 1876 and died 1951.  He live in Victoria Avenue Llanidloes Powys. His wife was called Martha Matilda Corfield she was born in Newtown 20th sept 1895 and died Oct 1973.
We think he may of had a sister called Mary George.  We also think he came from South Wales?

What i'm after is where was he born what was his fathers name, mothers name and did Mary have any children.

So working on the date of marriage Richard would have been approx 50 years old, which suggests possibly that he was married previously, have a look at this 1901 Census and see if the year of birth and residence are ok.

Thankyou for the hard work you have done for me. Yes you are right about him being married twice, as i showed it to my mother she is the daughter MG George one of the sisters you sent me privately.  They have all past away now.  Is there anyway you could find out more on Richard George Mainly who his father was. And where his father is from. My mum recalls something about south Wales but she is not sure.

Death Sophia George age 33 March 1877 Newtown 11b 136

Well keyboard the Sophia "George" isn't showing up too readily before she was married,its a puzzle?

It appears that could very well be the marriage Keyboard,Richard born 1873 was a boarder in Merthyr in 1891.
