DO NOT REPLY TO THIS PERSON.]Henry Raymond[/color] circa 1891.  He was born in 1860 in Cringa, Kiffig to Benjamin & Keturah; he went to Australia in 1885 but returned to farm at Llansadurnen/Laugharne - date uncertain but probably after only a few years - but not found on UK census (until 1901 and 1911)

Thanks for prompt reply.  I ruled him out - plus a coal miner of the same name elsewhere in Wales in 1891.  Henry did marry but not until he was 60....

There's an H Raymond coming in on the Hohenstaufen  from Sydney on 12 April 1892 aged 31. he's single and a cooper

Thank you Mabel.  Name age and departure country seem fine and date would explain absence from UK census.  Trade something of a mystery but I guess you could declare yourself as Archbishop of Canterbury and if there was space on the paperwork it would be written down.  He was a farmer but immigration records in Freemantle have him as 'carter'.

This is off an Excel sheet I have taken from the census documents for Laugharne and sold as a CD-ROM. Honeycorse seems to be outside of Llansadurnen near the main road between Laugharne and Pendine.

He is not listed in 1891 at the family farm. I do not have 1881 listings other than a series of images that do not include Honeycorse. I cannot find him through other sources. Family Search say he was living in Llansadurnen in 1881 aged 20 as a Farmer's son. He could have gone anytime after 1881 and returned before 1901. In 1911 he was aged 50 and living at Llansadurnen, Honeycorse, Carmarthenshire.
