New, Free, Data transcriptions for Worcestershire
« on: Sunday 05 February 12 22:35 GMT (UK) »
Hi Folks

The Bromsgrove branch of the Birmingham and Midland Society for Genealogy and Heraldry (BMSGH) are very pleased to announce two new sets of data, which have now been added to their website.  They were transcribed by Chris El-Amir.

  • Universal British Directory 1793-98
A transcription of the Principal Inhabitants of Worcester City
  • Pigot's Directory of Worcestershire 1835
Listed by 18 different areas of the county

We hope they will add something to you tree and encourage you to check this and other original source material.  There are other resources on our site as well, e.g. the 1811 & 1821 census for Bromsgrove,  links to help you trace your ancestors, and a downloadable list of websites suitable for Beginners.

To be able to see these copyrighted resources you will need to subscribe to our website, which is free. www.bromsgrovebmsgh.co.uk/

Kind regards

Mike
