Looking for ANY information on William Dysart born abt. 1769 probably Portglenone/Rasharkin County Antrim.  Emigrated to US in 1805 with wife, Jane Boyd Dysart and possible infant son (John) and Brother of Jane, John Boyd.

There are mentions of William DYSART and Hugh DYSART within the Belfast Newsletter Index.

During 1782 & 1784 they supported public rewards for info about the perpetrators of the burning of corn mills at Portglenone & Bracknamuckley in Ahoghill parish.

In 1769  & 1771 a WD is a master of the emigrant ship Rose.

Dysarts of Portglenone and others in area:

I just did a few month search into the name Dysarts as they were my ancestors.

It would appear that that name started in 1750-1825 in Bracknamuckley and at least one moved to Garvaghy in the late 1775 to 1810 time frame...

John Dysart b. 1842 was the recorder of Births and Deaths in Portglenone and may have been a Doctor who lived in Garvaghy.

John Dysart's Father may have been Archibald Dysart b. 1799 Either in Garvaghy or Bracknamuckley.

Archibald Dysart's b 1799 father may have been Ezeikill Dysart b. 1777 Either in Garvaghy or Bracknamuckley.

It would apear that one of the Relatives married a Female montgomery Early in the 1800's or Late in the 1750-1800 Period.
