Mary Ann Datson nee Bawden/Bowden

I am looking for any information re Mary Ann Datson nee Bawden/Bowden born 1835, I think Cornwall,  England  and died 26/12/1917 at Kapunda, South Australia. She was married on the 10/12/1853 in North Kapunda to William Datson. Her children were William, Lucretia Maria Joan, Matthew Absolem, Adelaide Eliza Grace, George, Thomas Henry, Mary Eveline Edith, Emmeline Winifred, Albert William and Archibald Henry. How and when did she arrive in South Australia and who were her parents and siblings?  Anything to even the smallest information will be greatfully appreciated.

Do you have her Sth Australian Marriage and Death Certs?

Have a look on here under Bowden only (no 1st names) and then Bawden/Bowdon;
Several possibles under My, My Ann etc with Parents pre 1853.

Hi, I saw your post while researching the previous owners of my house. From what I have found, Mary Ann & William were the 1st owners of my house in Kapunda South Australia, which was built sometime between 1851 and 1860. I have some original pictures of Mary Ann & William although the picture of William could be their son. He is wearing some sort of service uniform. As far as I can tell the family lived here until 1953. I have copies of the deeds naming them, however the writing is unclear. One entry misspells their name as "Datsun" I have gravesite pictures however the research is still ongoing as many graves have deteriorated with age. Happy to supply hi res pictures I have. I am trying to trace their lineage to see if any members of the family remain and where thy are now, so any info or history you have would be of interest

I have an infinity with Mary Ann and feel very close to her, even though she died a long time ago. She led a very interesting life. I am happy to ring you, and now live in NSW. As you you never replied to what I posted I didnt get a chance to add anything else I had found.

EG;
A Tree has her as the Daug of JOHN/ANN living in Sithney.
They quote the 1841 Census as her being age 6, the image is 6 weeks

MARY ANN Bawden, Parents John/Ann , Fathers Occp Fisherman
Siblings;
JOHN, 30 Nov 1842
ELIZA, 2 June 1844
PRISCILLA, 24 Aug 1845

1851 Mary Ann appears as Mary Jane and 1861 as M J
So I think unlikely to be the one who married 1853 in South Australia

I did find this;

Cant find them 1841 Census in Cornwall.

From the Site I posted earlier;
" BOWDEN R, wife, dau, (2 sons) arrived in SA by 1840"

So another possible?

As I asked earlier do you have Mary Anns Death Cert?
Does it not name Parents?

I just came across your post re Mary Ann Bawden.  I am currently compiling a family history on behalf of my brother-in-law, Denis Bawden, who, like me, lives in Perth, WA.  He is descended from Mary Ann's brother, Hugh Bawden.  I have info & photos to share, including a book 'Memoirs of Land & Sea' which includes the pioneering Bawden family on the Yorke Peninsula. Hugh Bawden was also a bush poet, who occasionally wrote about the perils of the demon drink, as his father, George Percival Bawden, was a drinker, who caused the death of his wife, Joan Buckingham, while intoxicated.  Would love to hear from you to exchange stories, etc.  I can be contacted via Ancestry - RONPIMM22 - PIMM FAMILY TREE (2).
