Browneshill Estate,staff level`s.
« on: Monday 27 February 12 11:32 GMT (UK) »
Hi,I wonder if there is any information on the staffing level`s at the Browne-Clayton estate,I am interested as my grandfather worked there in the latter 19Th,and early 20Th century.
I would be grateful for any information.
                With regard`s Diarmuid.

Not sure what you mean by 'staffing levels'- are you looking for records of employees for this estate?

You could check 1901 and 1911 census (be sure to check all pages to see the owner, etc.)-
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
Also check National Archives, Dublin catalogue to see if they hold any estate papers-

Otherwise, papers might be deposited in solicitor's files or in local custody.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
